Adoption - Minimum Donations
In order to rehome a small animal from Camp Nibble we need you to provide suitable accommodation for your new pet. We also require a minimum donation to be made. The amount we ask for will vary depending on the species of animal you are adopting. We rely entirely on donations to enable us to continue the work we do. The amount that we ask for when an animal is adopted only goes a tiny way towards covering the cost of rescuing that animal.
We feel that a potential adoptee that is unwilling or unable to make a small donation is unlikely to have the commitment or financial ability to provide a suitable permanent home for one of our animals.
The minimum donation amounts required to rehome a small animal from us are as follows:
-
Rabbits: £50 single, £90 pair (this includes neutering and vaccinations which cost us around £75 per rabbit).
-
Guinea pigs: £20 single, £30 pair (may or may not be neutered).
-
Small rodents, hamsters, gerbils, rats: £10 single, £15 pairs.
-
Fancy mice: £5 each.
-
Turtles: £20 each.
-
Other small animals: Please contact us for the minimum donation amount.
