A new start for Antman
(November 17, 2019)Little Antman joined us back in March. He had been rescued sadly from very neglected conditions, but thankfully found his way to us via some very kind people. He really was in a sorry looking state, terrified and covered in extensive lesions from an untreated rabbit syphilis. These were so disfiguring especially around his face and genitals, but more unusually also over his body.
We were delighted with how well he responded to treatment (weekly penicillin injections) and was looking handsome again after appropriate treatment and a little tlc, and was given the all clear for us to find his forever home.
He's been very well loved in the meantime in a wonderful foster home whilst we have been on the look out and holding out for just the right very special home for him.
We are just over the moon that he has found love, and recently hopped off to his new home having been carefully bonded to not one but two beautiful wives (who we rescued and re-homed together last year). His new mum Liz is just the kindest most understanding home we could of found for him. He will be completely accepted, adored and cherished (just like his new friends have been). It is clear that she is besotted with him already!
We're just delighted! Thank you so much to his amazing new mum, his wonderful foster mum, our fab vets and the very kind ladies who rescued him and brought him to us.
Now you get busy enjoying the amazing life you always deserved little sweetheart Xxx
