(January 15, 2014)Our e-petition urging the government to introduce a much needed code of practice for the welfare of domestic rabbits has received the following very disappointing response from Defra:
This excellent blog post from The Rabbit House helps explain just why a code of practice for the welfare of domestic rabbits is so important, and something previously promised by the government.
Wales and Northern Ireland currently both have codes of practice for the welfare of their domestic rabbits so just why don't our English rabbits deserve the same?
