Introducing new sanctuary bunny Texas Pete
(June 25, 2015)Meet Texas Pete the newest member of our sanctuary family of permanent resident bunnies.
Texas Pete is a 5 year old lion head. Sadly, like so many rabbits fed on an inappropriate traditional rabbit muesli diet he has joined us with dental disease.
In addition to his dental disease this sweet little chap has joined us with a very large tumour in his jaw. Unfortunately, he cannot be helped with surgery. He is currently managing well. However, his long term prognosis is very uncertain.
We will do our best to give this adorable scruffy little chap the best retirement we can as one of our much loved sanctuary family.
