A happy ending for Joan
(July 14, 2015)Joan joined us recently at 8 to 9 years old having always lived alone (we suspect like so many rabbits confined mostly to a hutch). Despite a life time being fed on muesli mix she is miraculously in amazing condition for her age.
We are over the moon to have found Joan a wonderful retirement home with a very handsome companion called Barney (recently bereaved). A very delightful love at first sight bond for them. What a truly bunderful update here from her lovely new home:
"Joan is absolutely loving grass and space! She's been hoping around loads getting to know her new home, very inquisitive but completely relaxed. We watched her sprawled out asleep in the sunshine this afternoon Smiling face with open mouth and smiling eyes.
Thank you ever so much, it's so good to see Barney back to his usual self and heart warming watching Joan so happy experiencing her new life."
